Nichols Brothers Chooses NVTi's 3500 Vision System

Two Nichols Brothers fast catamarans, the Gemini and Pisces, are to be fitted with NVTi's 3500 multi sensor day/night vision system. Scheduled to begin service December of 2008, the vessels are 118' in length, have a 28'8" beam and 6' draft.
According to Mary Francis Culhane, San Francisco Water Transit Authority's Manager of Marine Engineering, the vessels will carry 149 passengers per trip at up to 25 knots between South San Francisco and Oakland.
